Home Repairs April 14, 2009 It's finally actually spring, which means I've finally been able to get out around the house to see what damage winter has done. The big one was replacing the pneumatic closer on my storm door, which whipped open in the wind a couple of weeks ago and snapped off the frame. I've also added quite a lot to the brush pile in back, staked a baby pine tree that couldn't take the snow weight, and started the annual "do I really need to fix the sidewalks" debate. I'm glad I don't live in the city proper and my sidewalks are only for us to walk on...if they were public I'd have had to do it about five years ago.
