Home Again

I’m not sure what was more pathetic…the five-year-old girl crying because I was leaving, or me crying because I was leaving. Gah…I’m getting emotional in my old age. But, I’m home again. Back to the higher heat and oppressive humidity, back to my regularly scheduled life, back to everything I left behind and sorely missing the place where a part of me will always live. I wasn’t home an hour and I already had the pictures posted on Facebook. What did we ever do without it?
