High-End Mini Tower PC-V600F Case Released By Lian Li James White July 6, 2011 Lian Li‘s newest addition to their V series of PC cases is the Mini Tower PC-V600F. Available in black, silver, and red, this high-quality, all-aluminum computer case packs some of Lian Li’s full tower features into a smaller package. The mini tower form factor does limit users to micro-ATX and mini-ITX motherboards, but this is the only place you will find the word “limit” in the PC-V600F’s description. The Lian Li PC-V600F has two 120 mm LED fan intakes and one 120 mm top fan for exhaust. As you would expect, the PSU is isolated as a bottom mounted unit with is own dedicated vented intake on the bottom of the case. This intake, as well as the front two 120 mm fans have washable filters. To add in airflow and heat dissipation, the four expansion card slots are also vented. Two HDD cages, which use thumb-screws with rubber grommets for tool-less installations, hold up to five 3.5” HDDs and two 2.5” HDDs. The top HDD cage can be removed to increase video card space to a downright impressive 370mm (14.5 inches). An addition I have not seen before is the tool-less side-panels on the Lian Li’s PC-V600F. These tool-less features also extend to the external 5.25″ ODD bays. Rounding out the design is the front panel which can be found on the top of the case with HD audio ports, power, reset, 2 USB 3.0 ports, and 1 eSATA port. The all-aluminum, PC-V600F weighs in at 5 kg (11 lbs.). It is 190mm x 390mm x 470mm or 7.48″ x 15.35″ x 18.5″ (W, H, D) which is a very compact stature. While its limits motherboard options, Lian Li make no compromises in quality or features to achieve the smaller form factor. The PC-V600F mini tower is an excellent choice for consumers looking for a high-quality, top of the line computer case that doesn’t take up much room.
