GoPro Releases the Karma Grip as a Separate Accessory Dylan Duarte December 5, 2016 News Although GoPro’s Karma drone was recalled less than three weeks after its release, the company has released the Karma Grip that came with the drone as its own accessory. It costs a hefty $300, but the stabilization quality is supposedly top notch, which it would have to be if it’s going to be smoothing out your action-packed adventure videos. The Karma Grip is available now in the United States and is coming to the UK sometime soon. It works out-of-the-box with the Hero5 Black, but if you’re using the Hero4, you’ll need a $30 harness to equip it. And if you have the Hero5 Session, know that a compatible harness won’t be available until next summer. While the recall is still a bummer for drone fans, hopefully this comes as some bit of consolation. And $300 may sound like a lot, but it sounds like a worthwhile investment if you’re serious about making professional-quality videos that don’t give people motion sickness. Share This With The World!
