Get a Jump on Winter With the Cordless LITHIUM-ION Heated Jacket Beth Snyder August 20, 2011 As you probably know, it gets stupidly cold where I live. Consequently, I am constantly waddling around like the kid from A Christmas Story from all the layers necessary to make going outside even a little bearable. Now there is something from Milwaukee Tools (a name I already trust) that could make at least the top half of my body comfortable without piling on the sweatshirts. The jacket itself is made of a multi-layered soft shell, and features three sewn-in carbon fiber heating areas (right and left chest and back). The Red Lithium battery is hidden in a back pocket and can deliver up to six hours of heat on a single charge. There are three levels of heat setting (low, medium and high) as well as a warm-up mode. The power button is located above the Milwaukee logo on the upper right chest. These jackets are water and wind resistant, and are available in sizes medium through 2XL. Each one has two side pockets and a small pocket for your phone or MP3 player. By warming your body, you are also stimulating blood flow, so it might even be almost pleasant to work outside in one of these. However, you’re going to pay for the pleasure…these run anywhere from $110.00 to $300.00 US. Source: The Gadgeteer Share This With The World!
