That trade show is coming up again, on September 2nd to be exact, and reports say that Samsung is readying an announcement for the Gear S3. It definitely makes sense. Companies are creatures of habit when it comes to this sort of stuff. Last year, Samsung teased the Gear S2 announcement in August, right before the launch, so if they repeat the pattern then we won’t have to wait long to see something. Details are scarce to non-existent, which is always a bit exciting. Reports say that they’ll stick with the rotating bezel design, which seems to be a hit with a lot of people. A trademark was supposedly filed for the name “Gear S3 Frontier,” which could mean that we’ll see different models this time around.
