The name Marshall is synonymous with music and packed stadiums of fans enjoying the joyous thundering music from stacks of speakers and amplifiers on-stage. Those speakers are usually branded with the Marhsall name and now the company wants you to be able to take this experience with you. Introducing the Marshall headphones.

While details are still fairly scarce about the headphones themselves, what we can glean from our trained eye is that these headphones will be fully blacked out from tip to tail with the exception of the gold plated 1/4 plug adapter. The adapter is a screw on type to provide maximum connectivity. When not using it, you just unscrew it and store it safely. This is not unlike what many pro quality headphones utilitize. In fact, based on the headband configuration, coiled cable and said screw on connector, these headphones look very similar to the SONY MDR-7506 which are staples in many professional recording studios. The main difference would of course be the square ear cups which I assume is a design nod to the iconic square shape of a Marshall amplifier.

The new Marshall “cans” as audiophiles call them will be hitting the shelves by November 15th which is just in time for the holidays. No pricing is available at this time but you an sign up at the official website to be notified when they hit the store shelves.
