Former Apple Store Employee Sam Sung Auctioning Work Gear for Charity Dylan Duarte August 6, 2014 Extras If there’s one thing that the era of eBay has taught us, it’s that people on the Internet will buy pretty much anything, so I somehow doubt former Apple employee Sam Sung is going to have trouble finding a buyer for his old work gear. Yes, his name is Sam Sung, and yes, the joke has been made. Sam–who worked out of the Pacific Centre Apple Store in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada–has slapped his Apple Store shirt, name tag and business card in a pretty framed presentation. He’s signed it and is now auctioning it off on eBay. One-hundred percent of the proceeds will go to Children’s Wish, a local charity that grants wishes to kids with terminal illnesses, similar to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The auction started at a dollar and, at the time of this writing, sits at $3,250. Shipping will be $70, which would seem hefty if the winner weren’t dropping four digits. I’m not even going to pretend to understand the appeal here, but it’s a lot of money being raised for charity, so my hat is off to Mr. Sam Sung. via Yahoo Share This With The World!
