‘Drag And Drop’ Interface For Laser Microscopy Stephen Fung March 8, 2007 Instead of using highly skilled technicians to accurately position samples and mirrors for laser microscopy, the Risψ National Laboratory in Denmark has devised a computerized interface that will allow any biologist to manipulate cell-sized objects. A device that radically simplifies the operation of “laser traps” could let non-experts manipulate microscopic objects more easily. It could provide new research opportunities for biologists and other scientists without expertise in optics, the system’s designers claim. Source: New Scientist Share This With The World!
