In a Dinner Slump? Try Recipe Dice Beth Snyder May 18, 2015 Extras In previous posts, I’ve talked about Foodie Dice and Mixology Dice, and I still think they’re brilliantly simple. Now there are Recipe Dice, and they offer an identical yet different solution to the age old question, “Mom, what’s for dinner?” Where the other two types of dice were wood with words etched into them, Recipe Dice have words as well as pictures, and the graphics are printed on the solid wood dice. The pictures are water-resistant, which makes them ideal for use in the kitchen. Each die is a 5/8 inch cube, a good size for being able to hold all 12 of them in your hand when you place your dinner plans in the hands of fate. There are two different sets of Recipe Dice, one with meat and one vegetarian. They feature more than 60 seasonal vegetables, grains, herbs, spices, and meats (unless you order the vegetarian style, which comes with an extra vegetable die in place of the meats). Plus the attached tag suggests ways you can use the combinations you roll to make delicious dinners that are pretty much guaranteed to be unique. They also come in a glass jar so you can see your dice and even display them if you wish. Recipe Dice cost $16.00 US for whichever set you choose, and are available now. Not a bad price at all for getting yourself out of a rut and on the road to more interesting dinners. Source: Coolest Gadgets Share This With The World!
