The hard drive business might be hurting a little due to the floods in Thailand, but Seagate Technology continues to move forward with new and exciting innovations.

The Seagate GoFlex portable hard drives are already pretty popular. Then, they announced the GoFlex Satellite last year, creating a Wi-Fi hotspot from which all the different media files can be shared wirelessly with nearby tablets and smartphones via the app or web browser.

Now, they’ve gone even further, announcing a partnership with Verizon to have the GoFlex Satellite hop onto a 4G LTE network. What this means is that the files on that portable hard drive can become accessible to just about anywhere in the world. That’s pretty neat!
