Asus Announces the ZenFone 4 Line Dylan Duarte August 17, 2017 News The Asus ZenFone 3 devices were known for their stellar photography capabilities, something that Asus is wisely carrying over to the ZenFone 4 lineup, which was just revealed. The headliners, the ZenFone 4 and ZenFone 4 Pro, feature 5.5-inch 1080p displays, and the Pro model has an AMOLED screen. The ZenFone 4 uses a Snapdragon 660 chip, 4 to 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and a 3,300mAh battery. It’s priced at $399. The ZenFone 4 Pro is loaded with a Snapdragon 835 chipset, 6GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of internal storage. It’s all powered by a 3,600mAh battery and starts at $599. Plenty of phones boast awesome specs. If you’re coming for the ZenFone, you want to know the camera setup. The ZenFone 4 uses dual cameras. The first camera has Sony’s IMX362 sensor with 1.4-micron pixels, OIS, and a f/1.8 lens. The second camera lets you do 2x optical zoom. Both phones will come out of the box with Android 7.1.1. Then there’s the Selfie series, which features the $279 ZenFone 4 Selfie and the $379 ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro. The Pro’s dual front-facing cameras feature a 12-megapixel IMX362 sensor, a f/1.8 lens, and the second camera is a wide angle. The standard Selfie phone features dual front cameras with a 20-megapixel sensor. Finally, there’s the Asus ZenFone 4 Max, which is notable for its whopping 5,000mAh battery.
