October means different things to different people. For some, it’s the first actual month of the fall season. For others, it’s an excuse to binge watch as many horror movies as they can in thirty-one days (oh god what am I doing I don’t have time for this). And then for Apple fans, it’s become the time to expect the announcement of the newest model(s) of Apple’s iPad.

According to Recode, who’s always been pretty reliable with these sorts of things, Apple’s next big event is happening on October 16th. You can expect an updated version of the iPad Air and a final version of the OS X Yosemite operation system.

An earlier report claimed that Apple would hold an event on October 21st, but then another report debunked that report, so did that report ever exist at all? These are the sort of questions I ask myself before I drink my coffee.

Apple has had it pretty rough lately with the physical and software issues plaguing their latest release, but nobody’s perfect. These sort of speedbumps lead to bigger and better things. And I meant “bigger” in a figurative sense, but with the release of the iPhone 6 Plus, who knows what’s in store?
