AMD Sets Date to Hand Over Bulldozer’s Keys James White July 26, 2011 Industry sources say AMD are currently slating September 19th as the day Bulldozer will be available in stores. I personally will still be waiting for my official press release from AMD about Bulldozer, but it would seem this information is not a rumor. In addition to a release date, these sources also display these two charts of the processors to be released in mid September and in early 2012. This chart provides a lot more information than you might thing at first glance. The famous AMD FX-8130p seen in all the “leaked” images of CPU-Z and Cinebench is crushed by it not existing. There also is to be no suffix letters in the names. The rumor that “P” chips exclusively have Turbo or unlocked cores is also false. The only real difference in AMD Bulldozer chips is clock speeds and core count. As with all information not from or verified by AMD, take this with a grain of salt. All I can say is these charts seem more like AMD to me. AMD has never been a fan of using more than two letters in their product names. Not to mention these charts line up well with the A series APU’s names. If our country is still working in September, I am sure we will have more for you guys before the release date.
