Amazon Has Refurbished iPhones on Sale (Canada)

Interested in picking up a new iPhone but not nearly as interested in dropping four figures a shiny new iPhone X? If you’re Canadian and you don’t mind getting a device that’s a couple of generations old, today’s Amazon Deal of the Day will be right up your alley. They’ve got certified refurbished Apple iPhones on sale.

Unsurprisingly, you won’t find the iPhone X, iPhone 8, or iPhone 8 Plus here. That’s not really the point, because you’re really here to save a few bucks on an iPhone in like-new condition.

To that end, the selection of refurbished iPhones on Amazon Canada today including the iPhone 6S, the iPhone 6S Plus, the iPhone 7, and the iPhone 7 Plus. They’re not the newest devices on the block, to be sure, but you’re not exactly getting stuck with an iPhone SE either, even if you’re almost paying an iPhone SE kind of price.

The deals here are actually half decent. You can pick up an iPhone 6S unlocked for less than $400, an iPhone 6S Plus for about $420, all the way up to an iPhone 7 Plus 256GB for about $750. There’s no specific mention as to whether the batteries have been swapped out, but these are certified refurbished iPhones.

Amazon says that they are “tested and certified by the manufacturer or by a third-party refurbisher to look & work like new, with limited to no signs of wear.” The “work like new” part might mean new batteries, but we can’t say for sure. You get all the regular accessories, plus at least a 90-day warranty. You might not get the official box though.
