Air Purifier Also Kills Mold and Germs Beth Snyder September 21, 2011 It seems like the preponderance of allergies is multiplying exponentially the last few years. Which means air purifiers and various other gadgets to make breathing easier are popping up about every twelve seconds. This actually has something most of them don’t, though, so it might be worth checking out. Since I am one of those people who is allergic to pretty much every organic thing living or dead, I’m tempted. Price may be a factor, but if it works it will be worth it. The coolest thing about the Mold and Germ Destroying Air Purifier is that it can destroy up to 100% of airborne bacteria, mold, viruses, dust mites, and pollen. Not only that, but it doesn’t make any noise, and doesn’t use a filter. It’s almost like magic. How it works is it draws in impurities using natural convection. When they get into its ceramic heating chamber, they are incinerated in 400F heat. The sanitized air is then cooled and recirculated into the room. Not only that, but it remains cool to the touch and the internal heat won’t affect room temperature. It measures 10 1/2″ H x 8 1/2″ Diam., weighs 3 1/3 lbs., and is effective in a room up to 650 square feet. As I mentioned, all this does not come cheaply. You’re going to have to shell out $299.95 US to take one of these home. Source: Coolest Gadgets Share This With The World!
