It seems like every gadget we own is charged with USB, doesn’t it? I’m sure I’m not the only one who quite regularly runs out of USB ports, and has bought a hub to help out. I’m lucky in that I’m only one person trying to charge my stuff, but if you’ve got multiple people in your house you’ve probably got cords and hubs and adapters all over. And you probably still don’t have enough.

What you need is a 49-port USB hub, you just didn’t know that yet. Each port provides 1.5A of charging power, so while you may not be able to charge your tablet you’ll certainly be able to charge your phone, camera, MP3 player, GPS, smart watch, and whatever else you have. No more trying to figure out which device to unplug so you can charge another one, because I’m pretty sure even the busiest household shouldn’t have to plug in more than 49 things at once.

Sure, this is probably designed for an office setting or for other groups (if doctor’s offices were smart, every waiting room on the planet would have one of these), but 40 ports really isn’t all that unreasonable an amount. You’ve got to figure we’re only going to be getting more and more gadgets, and it seems USB is the way gadgets are charged, at least for the foreseeable future.

You will need to provide your own ATX power supply and hook it up, just like you would for a computer. But even with that factored in this is pretty much plug and play. If you’re interested in picking one up you’ll have to part with $174.00 US.
