Zune Prices Follow Stock Market and Drop!

Zune prices are getting more aggressive this holiday season. Microsoft has announced price cuts right down the whole current line starting on November 21st. These prices affect Canadian retailers, though I’m sure that US price cuts will be similar. They are as follows…
Product New SRP Previous SRP Change
Zune 4GB $99 $129 -$30
Zune 8GB $139 $149 -$10
Zune 16GB $179 $199 -$20
Car Pack $69 $79 -$10
Dock Pack $39 $49 -$10
Although the Microsoft Zune still has a ways to go to becoming THE music player in the market, appealing to our wallets is a start. Compared to an iPod nano, which starts at $169 for their 8GB unit, the Zune is one heckuva deal these days.
