It is probably no secret that I have a soft spot for the ZOTAC ZBox series. I currently don’t have a Home Theater PC, but it is something I would like to purchase at some time with ZOTAC ZBox as the only product on my list after DIY build. Setting aside my personal opinions, let’s look at something awesome. This is the ZOTAC ZBOX Nano XS AD11 mini-PC.
This is an AMD E-450 APU powered mini-PC with a feature list that if written on paper may be longer than the device itself. The AMD E-450 is a 1.65 GHz dual-core APU with on-die AMD Radeon HD 6320 GPU. Combined with one of ZOTAC’s custom Mini-ITX motherboards, you get a list of features any PC would be proud of including Bluetooth, 802.11n Wi-Fi, full HDMI 1080p support, intergrated IR, DirectX 11 support, and two USB 3.0 ports. Why is this slightly more impressive than the last time ZOTAC had a product with these specs? Well let me show you instead of tell you.
While the lost of total storage hurts a little, you still have like half dozen other ways to get your media to this little wonder. This could also be a nice partner to your primary system for those times you are just going to watch Netflix and it can easily be hidden behind the monitor.
