Started in 1972, World Environment Day celebrates and promotes positive environmental action. I realize it’s Sunday, and for most of us that means it’s the crunch day to get all those weekend projects done before heading back to work in the morning, but take a minute to do something positive for the world around you. Pick up some trash and throw it away. Plant a tree…heck, plant a LOT of trees! Walk instead of driving. Start a recycling drive. Or anything you can think of that will help the planet on which we all live.
