Funny how one simple email can change everything. I heard from my best friend, who lives about 1400 miles away from me. She had her baby boy on Monday morning, and all is basically well! Which means if I can ever get my ducks in a row, I’ll be taking a vacation soon to meet my new nephew and also make sure I pay lots of attention to his big sister so she doesn’t feel left out, since she’s used to having her parents all to herself. It’s suddenly a good day!
