When Science Becomes Art

May they be alien lanscapes of scanning electron micrographs of the surface of cells, or colorful networks of veins and arteries, these pictures of the human body and its various organs have been considered art by Santa Fe’s Museum of Fine Art — enough to justify an exhibition that will last until May, and aptly titled The Art And Artifice Of Science. The human animal is exposed there in its utmost intimacy.
