This thing is really dirt simple, if you look at it. The tray measures 12.6″ (32cm) (L) x 9.06″ (23cm) (W) x 1.38″ (3.5cm) with adjustable Velcro to attach to just about any piece of carry-on luggage that has a pull-out handle. Or even one that doesn’t if it’s tall enough. The length adjusts from 16″ – 42″ (42 – 107cm) and will hold a maximum load of 13.2lb (6kg). It’s made of aluminum alloy, and weighs just 2.2 pounds (1kg), so it doesn’t even really add all that much to what you’re already hauling around.
Really, what you see in the pictures is what you get. Simply attach the tray to your suitcase’s handle, then attach the leg to the front…instant work surface! The tray isn’t solid, so if you want to do paperwork or something you’ll have to come up with a plan for that, but since it’s supposed to be for laptops, the holes are ideal. Air flow is your friend, especially if you’re gonna be there for a while.
This nifty little gadget will run you right around $40-$45.00 US.
