For the second installment of the Chicago saga…we woke up this morning and stuffed the kids (and ourselves, of course) full of food at the made-to-order breakfast buffet at the hotel. Then we spent most of the day at the Shedd Aquarium, followed by tea at the American Girl cafe. Let me tell you…if you have a little girl and you are ever anywhere there is one, DO THIS! It was probably the most fun I’ve had as a grownup acting like a little girl having a tea party ever. I’m stealing a few minutes to myself to catch up on my real-life responsibilities before heading over to the pool.
