Just when I think there can’t possibly be any more obscure holidays… I’m going to take this opportunity to rant a bit. You know how they’ve made it “easier” for us by making most soup cans pull-tops? I hate those. The soup doesn’t come out without scraping, you always lose some of it under the edge, and I tend to have a 3:1 average on cutting myself on the edge of the lid I’ve just removed. I wish they’d stop “helping” me by “improving” things that worked just fine before they messed with them. I don’t mind using a can opener, honest!
