In collaboration with AMD, Thecus introduces the all-new M3800 Stream Box. Based on the AMD GeodeTM processor, the M3800’s design concept is centered on the home theater and multimedia. Users can use the M3800 to centrally store, manage, access, and enjoy their movie and music files

The M3800 is equipped with three 3.5″ SATA bays, and brings the security of RAID 5 to the home. Also standard is Thecus’ download manager, iTunes server, web camera function, and photo web server. The unit also includes HDMI, component, and AV out, allowing the M3800 to play digital content directly through your existing home theater system. The M3800 supports multiple file formats with resolutions up to 1080p when displayed on an HDTV. A remote control also comes standard with the M3800.

The M3800 arrives Spring 2009. For more information on Thecus check out their website.
