I am occasionally completely flabbergasted by products on the market. Take, for instance, something I saw on TV today. Some spice company or other makes recipe cards with pre-measured spices attached to them for people who can’t figure out what to make for dinner. I mean, I guess I get it, but why is that so much better than looking at a cookbook and using the spices from your shelf? Is measuring really that big a hardship? In response, I made up a recipe on the spot for dinner, and if I do say so myself it was fabulous. I can get you a copy of it with pre-measured spices for your convenience if you wish.
