When I went to work yesterday, I was scheduled for today, and then not again until Thursday. Now, I only have Wednesday off this week. Isn’t the entertainment industry grand? That makes me giggle a lot, the number of people who think my job is the coolest thing ever. I realize that for many people it must be, but if you actually did it every day you would understand how frustrating it is to never know when you’re working or for how long. Which translates directly into never knowing when or if you’re going to get paid. See…it’s not that cool after all! But I love it. Wouldn’t do anything else.
