Well, today I have my first appointment with the podiatrist. I’m still adjusting to that…in my head, only old people go there. I realize that isn’t true, but that’s how it keeps working in my head. I’m hoping they have some kind of miracle cure (a toe replacement surgery?) that will fix the problem so I can go on with my life. Because if he can’t fix it, I’m looking at having to change careers. As a friend of mine said the other day, it’s not that people don’t completely change their lives all the time. But it’s different when it’s you having to do it.
