Almost everyone has a September 11 story. Some are heart-wrenching, some make you shake your head thinking the person telling them is just looking for attention. Over the years since it happened, I have decided to go a different way. I refuse to lament the loss of a friend. Rather, I will wish his daughter Allison a happy 11th birthday, and hope she knows exactly how wonderful the man was who helped create her. Whatever your story, whoever you lost, whoever you know who might have become a hero...we will never forget. And that's pretty universal, isn't it?
