Surgery day! I am both excited and nervous, and pretty much ready to kill my mother. But I’m being tolerant, as a huge part of her attitude is because I’m her youngest and she’s worried. Still driving me nuts, though. Anyway, by the time I get home this afternoon I won’t much care what anyone says or does. At least I was smart and not only made a plan for getting in and out of the house, I made sure it actually worked before I come home from the hospital unable to use my right foot, not even for balance. This should be an adventure, for sure.
