Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Remember that being a common saying? When I was younger, I always thought it was pretty stupid, but today it actually fits for me. Because it is. Today I start a new adventure in self-denial, so the orthopedic surgeon will be able to fix my foot. I’m making a valiant effort at going in with a positive attitude, because if I’ve learned nothing else over the years, it’s that a positive attitude can make up for a lot of adversity. So…onward and upward!
