A friend pointed out last night that it is only mid-July. If the summer thus far has been any indication, we are all going to burst into spontaneous flames come August. Not only are we averaging 20 degrees hotter than normal, but we have had virtually no rain. Crops are dying (or dead). Drought conditions range from “abnormally dry” to “severe”. The lakes and rivers are down several inches. It’s just not pretty, and I know we aren’t the only ones. Stay safe, stay cool, and good luck!
