Technology is sometimes not your friend. I’m sure you are all aware of that, since you have to be on some sort of technology in order to be reading this. I have spent the bulk of this weekend dealing with a very high-tech system that does not play well with others, to the point where I have literally slept less than three hours per night since Wednesday, and have spent more time on the phone with our system tech than I have with the last man I dated. Today, it has gone beyond my pay grade, so I’m sitting on the other side of the room while other people deal with the problem. It’s strangely liberating.
