Last week Friday while I was making dinner, the kitchen faucet broke off in my hand with the water running. So we turned the water off and called the plumber. Because as many things as I can do, plumbing is absolutely NOT one of them. Turns out they couldn’t order a new faucet until Monday, which then wasn’t delivered until Wednesday, which meant they couldn’t come out to install it until this morning. If you’ve ever lived without a source of water in your kitchen, you understand. If not, may you never be able to empathize, because it was all sorts of no fun. But…all is well now, and I am happily using my kitchen sink again!
