The News: Im Done Edition ACC 5129 DxO1 500x333

Everything I needed to get done today didn’t happen, but I got the important stuff. That should be enough, right? Besides, we had an adventure tonight I don’t care to repeat. For no apparent reason, all of a sudden our carbon monoxide detector went off. Which was confusing because our only gas appliances are the furnace and dryer, and trust me we were not using either one. Through the course of trying to figure out what was going on with that, I discovered the directions for using the detector. Apparently you’re supposed to vacuum its sensor once a month. Ours has been plugged into the wall un-vacuumed for at least ten years. So I cleaned the sensor and plugged it back in, and it’s been fine ever since. Lesson learned.
