Yeah, I know, it’s winter…there’s hockey pretty much every day. But today is our season ticket holder appreciation party, so it’s a really long hockey day for me since I had to come in 4 1/2 hours before the game starts to explain what I do. In other news, I should mention that Whitney Houston died yesterday in case you live under a rock and didn’t know that. It’s a sad thing, but as opposed to people who are now falling all over themselves to say how wonderful she was, I am willing to admit I didn’t like her. Not her music, not her personality, not her self-destructive inability to go through rehab and mean it. So there you have it. I’m sorry for her daughter, but other than that all this means to me is that I cannot watch the Grammy’s (or really, any TV) tonight for fear of hearing one of her awful songs.
