Well, that was an adventure. The day started with my having set my alarm for an hour later than I should have, so I was rushed getting out the door for work. Then about halfway through the day, I did the most boneheaded thing imaginable, especially given how long I’ve been in this business. I ducked under a truss that was hanging about shoulder high, and neglected to look to see if there were lighting fixtures hung on the other side before I stood up. Turns out there were. And I SO stood up directly into one of them. Now I have a huge bump that is fairly tender to the touch, and one of the worst headaches short of a migraine I’ve ever had the great misfortune to experience. So…I left at lunch. I’ve got about a half hour before the serious pain pills take effect, so I figured I’d best get a post done now. Shortly I will be napping.
