OK, fine, I’ll go back to being a responsible adult. Not that I want to, but my mother raised me better than that. I just needed a couple of days away from my regular life to get my head back to being able to at least pretend I care. Of course, I can’t help but sit here thinking I should be in a cast and on narcotic pain medication right now, but surgery will not be for a while yet. I can’t even get an appointment with my new doctor until after I get back from vacation. Happy Friday, or something.
