While I realize there is still more hockey to go, after the last two nights things are back how they should be. His team lost Thursday, and mine won last night. Which means his series is at 3-2 against him and mine is 3-2 for me. If all goes as it should, by the end of the weekend we should know if we’re playing each other next or not. Given who they’re playing, I simply can’t choose. We’ve got a lifelong (sometimes ugly) rivalry with them, but the team they’re currently playing is my second choice in the conference.
