Charging devices while on the road seems to be a recurring theme, but it’s a constant worry for many of us. You don’t even have to have a job that puts you on the road; it’s just that today’s devices suck battery life like Dracula thus requiring constant charging. I no longer have a car, but if I still did I would have already ordered one of these.

It’s really pretty simple…it’s a dual USB charger you can plug into the cigarette lighter in your car. Well, I suppose it’s not politically correct to call them that any more, so I guess I should say “your car’s 12V port” instead. One side is high-current (2.1A) and the other is low-current (1.0A), so you can power a tablet and a phone simultaneously (or any combination of devices such as your MP3 player or GPS unit). It also has an LED light so you’ll know when your connection is good and your device is charging. What more could you ask from a nifty little gadget that will fit in your pocket?
