That Was Amazing!

Congratulations, Canada! I thought you had us for a while there, and it turns out you finally did. But in the mean time, I have decided if someone wants to do a medical study where they hook up hockey fans to an EKG, they might learn a LOT! Great game, and we’ll see you next time.

Organizing For Baking

This week is when I do my holiday baking…two days in the kitchen, at the end of which I will come out with seven kinds of cookies for a total of around 35 dozen, two kinds of bread for a total of four loaves, and six pans of gingerbread. Have I lost my mind? You bet! But it makes for fabulous presents when you can’t afford to buy anyone anything.

Still In Limbo

Apparently, the marginal improvement in my knee over the last week isn’t enough to make the doctor happy with my progress, so now I’m waiting for the hospital to call and tell me when I’m having an MRI. I’ve just about given up all hope of working again before the end of the year.
