Hi-Ho, Hi-Ho…And All That

It feels like forever since I’ve worked, and now that I’ve looked at my calendar I realize why…it has been! Our team was on the road last weekend, and I was sick, so time got away from me. Anyway, I’m heading there after an early dinner to see if maybe we can’t win a game again. Sure would be neat!

People Are Funny

I wish I could tell you the story that has me giggling, but I would be incapable of changing the names to protect the innocent. Mostly because there are no innocents. But have you ever noticed how incredibly ignorant and/or obtuse some folks can be? Now would be a great time to take a moment for yourself to remember one of your favourite idiot stories. See…now we’ve all had a giggle, which makes it a pretty darn good day!

Way Too Early

9:30am probably isn’t that early for a lot of people, but considering I didn’t get to bed until almost 6:00am it’s a bit much for me. But, here I am after tossing and turning for the last three hours. I finally gave up. With any luck at all there will be a nap happening when I normally post, so I’m doing this now. Didn’t figure you’d mind too much.

Going Away

Not that I’m anything like consistent as to when I post anyway, but I figured since I know about this in advance I should warn y’all. The family at large is coming to my house in a bit for our Christmas party, then I’m heading home with my niece and her family to help wrangle kids and wrap presents. I’ll be back some time tomorrow afternoon, and since we’re down to only my laptop I can’t take it with me.

Mystery Solved!

Sometimes it’s the simplest solutions that are the hardest to find. My mother has been complaining for two days that she can’t sign in to Hotmail, and keeps blaming my security settings. I went through everything I could think of, then finally dusted off my brain and logged in as me. Turns out the new improved version does not work with Firefox, only IE. Go figure, huh?
