I woke up this morning to blue skies, sunshine, almost 40F, and my daffodils are almost four inches tall! I know that we’ve more than likely got one more snowstorm coming, because that’s how it works here, but almost all the signs are in place. Only thing missing is seeing my first robin, but that can’t be too long now. I feel like I’ve just crawled out of a huge, dark cave. In fact, the other day on the news they said we got more sunshine in the first few days of March than we had in all of December. I like it!

I’m leaning more toward Finland for various reasons, but I can’t say I’ll be disappointed no matter who walks away with the bronze.
