Connected Again

An improvement to my usual disappearance is that I now can be out of town and still post! The family members I keep visiting have not only gotten an internet connection, but recently also added a wireless router. So while my post times may be erratic due to their schedules, at least you’ll get reviews while I’m here.

Working for the Weekend

Just got my call this morning, and apparently I’m doing a show this weekend. Four performances in three days, doing what I normally do for hockey games for a monster truck thing. Should be interesting. Now to fill in the next couple of days with something other than sitting in front of the TV!

Yup, you guessed it. Time for another one of those posts again. Y’all know the drill, so I’ll just get right to it since I’m hoping to be sleeping in a few minutes. It is 2:30am here, after all.

Sunshine

It’s almost blinding me, but I refuse to close the shades. This much sunshine in mid-February is practically unheard-of in these parts, so it’s best to enjoy it no matter how much it hurts glaring off the snow. It’s amazing how a little thing like bright, natural light can make you feel years younger and more hopeful about the future.

Unscheduled Hiatus

Wow…who knew when I left the house Sunday to watch the game I wouldn’t return until well after dinnertime on Thursday? Or that the webmail site would be so slooooow when I finally got to it that it took over an hour to get to the first six messages so I finally gave up? I’m really, REALLY sorry about that, but we were having what thankfully turned out to be a relatively minor family crisis. Someday after it all works out I’ll share what’s been going on, but for now we’ll just leave it at that. But what it means is my inbox is scary and I am WAY behind on posts, so I’ll try to do more than normal to try to resolve both of those situations over the next few days.
