International Computer Security Day

I don’t know who makes some of these “holidays” up, but some of them are worthwhile. Since it’s a thing, why not take a few minutes to make sure your security programs are up-to-date, and run them all? I’m sure most of you make a habit of doing so on a regular schedule, but there are probably those (myself included at times) that need a gentle reminder.

Family Day Again!

This should be an adventure! Today my niece is having a birthday party for her two foster daughters, whose birthdays are only a couple of weeks apart. The interesting part comes in when they and their brother realize I’m on crutches and cannot play the way I normally do. Hopefully we’ll all come out of this day alive and no more broken than we went in!

Bored, Bored, BORED!

I’ve been home for a whole day, and I have already completely run out of things to do. I would make more jewelry, but my beads are all in the basement and I’m on crutches. I would cook, but I can’t stand up for very long. Basically, I’m whiny and annoying and should probably just keep to myself, so here are the reviews!

Big Time Rock & Roll Show

Today promises to be long, grueling, and brutal. It’s anybody’s guess when or if I’ll be home, so I’ll make this one a bit longer just in case. If you go in expecting the worst, sometimes you’re pleasantly surprised when it’s not quite that bad…

It doesn’t rain, it pours. Periodically, I am forcibly reminded how grounded in fact some cliches actually are. You know how this works by now, I’ll just get to it.
