It never fails to amaze me how two days away from the computer translates into 847 emails, over a million Facebook items, and at least a dozen other things that require my immediate attention. Unfortunately, my laptop is really my backup machine, so I can only handle it superficially. With any luck at all, at some point I’ll have the time and intelligence to sit down with my main machine and figure out what’s wrong with it, but I fear the problem is beyond my ability to fix. I’m all over hardware, but once it gets into software I’m about as smart as the average second-grader.
