Turns out it may not have been the webmail site, or at least not entirely (I do have to say they have quite the obnoxious selection of ads, and one of them does cause a code error on every page load). My poor ancient laptop is having a heck of a time keeping up with modern technology, and last night it simply decided it was no longer interested. So I spent a couple of hours deleting everything but the bare bones basic, and it seems to have rejoined the technology ranks of 2001. Yeah, I know….
