The entry requirements are simple. To enter My Rode Reel, shoot a video of any type (theatrical, documentary, music video, etc) and on any topic of up to five minutes. Here’s where RODE’s promotion comes in: you must use a RODE microphone somewhere in the production and show it in a behind-the-scenes video. Then upload the film and the behind-the-scenes video to YouTube with “My RODE Reel 2014″ at the end of the titles. Then, go to the My Rode Reel website and fill out the entry form and you’re in. This must be done between March 1st and May 31st.
If you’re already a filmmaker, you can throw a RODE microphone into the mix and do your thing. You’ve got nothing to lose and some seriously good equipment to win.
