The Mimobot family of flash drives is expanding yet again, and this time they’re going with a villain rather than a hero. Meet The Riddler, who of course is infamous for being Batman’s nemesis. This one is based on a “classic styling” of the character, and should not be confused with The Joker, who is of course another nemesis of Batman. However, riddles are different from jokes, and the characters are different from each other. If you know Batman, you know I’m right. You also know he originally started on the side of good, but then turned to a life of crime instead.

About that classic styling…in the new movie, the character wears a green mohawk in the shape of a question mark. Not so the flash drive, which sports the traditional derby hat with a purple band and a question mark on the front. He also wears the green body suit (with requisite question mark), and of course the purple mask hides his eyes. Those eyes are kind of creepy-looking if you ask me, what with there being no pupils in them. But then you would expect someone like The Riddler to leave you feeling warm and fuzzy, would you?

Of course, as with all flash drives from Mimoco, this one comes pre-loaded with all sorts of goodies for you. There are avatars, wallpaper and desktop icons, which are all part of their exclusive Mimory® content and MimoDesk® personalization suite. You get to choose between 8GB ($16.99 US), 16GB ($29.99 US), 32GB ($39.99 US), 64GB ($69.99 US) and 128GB ($129.99 US). It’s currently USB 2.0, but USB 3.0 is coming soon.

Here’s the thing. This is a limited edition. They’re only making 2,000 of them, and they’re hand-numbering them so you can prove to your friends you have one of the real ones. But of course since it’s Mimoco, they aren’t jacking up the price at all, they’re just making sure that if you want one, you have to act fast. You can order from Mimoco’s PAX East Booth #1133, or online from their website, or they do have them on shelves at “select specialty outposts on planet Earth”.

Based on a classic styling of the elusive querying madman, question marks adorn his questionably classy three-piece suit. Joining a slew of DC Comics Super Heroes and fellow Super-Villains which include classic and collectible characters like Superman, Batman (Dark Knight Rises Edition), and The Flash (Drive), all deceivingly small DC Comics x MIMOBOT styles are now available in a spacious 128GB of data storage, and are offered in both USB2.0 and USB3.0 formats. The Riddler X MIMOBOT, as all others in the collection, comes preloaded with exclusive Mimory® content and our MimoDesk® personalization suite, which includes The Riddler-themed wallpapers, icons, and avatars.

“Who doesn’t love a great brain teaser?’” asks MIMOBOT advocate and generally curious human Jessica Smiley. “For once, we make The Riddler refrain from encryption – of your data!’”
